on our way to #1

Sadie and I are snowed in!

First look outside this morning at 8 am

My first "shoveling" to clear the way for Sadie. And when I say shoveling I mean lifting small amounts of snow with a cookie sheet since everytime I went to the store to buy a shovel they were sold out. Don't worry, Baby Skweres is fine and so am I. about 4 hours later we had another 6 ish inches. The official report is 26.5 inches so far at the airport. It's hard to tell how much we've received, and I haven't even looked out front to see if they've started clearing the parking lot (probably not!) If we get a little less than 2 more inches, we'll break the record to the most snowfall received from a storm. There was even "thundersnow" last night - it woke me up around 4 a.m.

I laughed out loud when one of the news anchors predicted there wouldn't be any school all week - yeah right! Plus, that means we'd have to add days on to the end of the calendar which I definitely don't want!

I LOVE this picture of Sadie! She is the best little dog. Has she been watching the Olympics?
