It's the homestretch!
how far along: 39 weeks
sleep: starting to decline in quality - i.e. more frequent bathroom breaks and foot cramping
best moment this week: Making it through the week? Because we don't want this baby to come before Justin's test I was sure he'd decide to be an early bird. Watch him not come for a week after the due date just to show us!
movement: yes. And yes I still think it is cute :) I'm hoping he'll start moving down into my pelvis but I can't really tell if he's dropped or not.
labor signs: just the usual - nothing serious or timable but we're getting ready!
what i miss: my energy. Until this week I still had a spring in my step at work (even going up three flights of stairs several times a day) - now I'm a slow poke. It took forever to grocery shop yesterday because waddling is not especially efficient.
what i'm looking forward to: having an outside baby! I can't wait to see what he looks like :)
weekly wisdom: If you want to go for a joyride, take our Jeep. No seriously, please feel free - someone else already helped themself. On Thursday morning when I went out to the parking lot to go to work, I just happened to notice justin's jeep wasn't in it's usual spot (with all the studying he hasn't been leaving the house much... i mean at all). So I called him to ask if he'd moved it and I just hadn't noticed the day before, but he hadn't. He called the apartment complex and the tow company and no one had his car. About 6 hours after filing the police report for a stolen car, the cops found it. It was in a nearby parking lot (Justin walked over to get it) still running, complete with screwdriver. Nothing was missing. Thanks and gig'em.
milestones: i think 39 weeks is a pretty impressive milestone... but each time I do something I wonder if it will be the last time. My last day at work? My last trip to the grocery store? My last weekly pregnancy post?

AHHH! I can't believe that about your CAR...that is horrid! I'm glad Baby Skweres is hanging in there. Don't want him to get there before Grandmama Duncan arrives! Love you!!!!
Glad you found the car. Some friends of mine had their classic car stolen. They found it two years later in California. No joke.
Maybe you will make it to book club on the 27th! ha ha! Hang in there :) - Rachel
