a good laugh

Not only were my parents moving machines (I couldn't have done it without them!) but Mama got these great pictures of Jonah with his Granddaddy while I was at work.

taking it easy

Jonah is such a happy boy in the mornings! He loves to sit in his bumbo chair and play with the spinning frog.

He's still not the biggest fan of tummy time. He has started reaching for things while on his stomach, and can roll onto his back.

There's a great park right up the street and we've been taking Sadie for walks in the evening. This is usually what happens, though!

Hunter's Creek Lake

On Friday Jonah and I went to visit Aunt Suzie. Cunningham Falls State Park has a little lake where we took Jonah swimming.
I found the smallest size swimming diaper, but it was still a little big on him! So was his "one size fit all infants" sun hat. He really enjoyed himself, and we did too.Can't you tell?

look mama, no hands!

Jonah has mastered the art of multitasking. He loves sucking his fingers, so he uses his feet to play with his toys! Sometimes he'll use his other hand to push his fingers further into his mouth. Most often, it's his left hand, but he's an equal opportunity finger sucker -

like in this picture!

haha just kidding, Jonah and I are booked through Saturday, so there won't be a lot of blogging anytime soon. we do have internet now, and are still unpacking and organizing (hey - it's tough work juggling Sadie, Jonah, and boxes!).

I promise it is more exciting around here than this!

Jonah and Aunt Mimi

Aunt Mimi and Jonah had a great week. He was on his best behavior and she was able to finish two papers that were due this week. They found lots of time to play with Sadie too! We even made it to book club Friday night. Of course the week went by too quickly. We are so thankful for her!

Jonah has been using his hands with purpose lately, grabbing toys and toes. Aunt Mimi and I decided to weigh him after his bath one night and his unofficial weight is 15 pounds! Only one more week of school until Summer!
