quick update

Jonah is crawling! He had been pretty close last weekend when Justin's dad was in town, but he's spent the week mastering mobility. His favorite place to go is Sadie's water bowl. We've been trying to take lots of pictures and video, but I haven't sorted through and uploaded to the computer yet. He's getting really confident standing, too.
He'll pull up from sitting to stand at his activity table, and he's pretty fearless moving from place to place - grabbing onto a pant leg or reaching for the sofa nearby.

This weekend Christina and Andrew came by on their way up to New York and they stayed the night with us. Christina and I left Jonah with the boys this morning and did a little shopping and had such a great time together.

We're looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend!

8 months

At 8 months Jonah

- is pushing up onto his hands and knees all the time, but hasn't started moving forward. He gets around it by rolling and scooting where ever he wants to go. He is best at spinning in circles and scooting backward which means he is often stuck under the couch or a chair.

- has all 4 top teeth now. They aren't fully grown in, but have cut through the gums

-which of course means we've had some sleepless nights (which we'll also blame on another cold, thank you germy middle schoolers).

-is very vocal. He loves to hear himself talk and is stringing together sounds like a-da-da-na

-thinks Sadie is the coolest. Whenever he makes eye contact with her he squeals and loves to watch her play.
