its a guy thing

Reunited after 8 months, Justin was really excited to spend some quality guy time with Travis, Grayson, and Dad. His number one request: to play golf. Of course, when you haven't played golf in a while, you either have really great luck, or have a really terrible time trying to keep a good attitude when all your shots are crap. Unfortunately for all involved, Justin experienced the latter.

Grayson's new Nintendo Wii provided another source of entertainment for the guys. He has a nice setup upstairs that includes a second TV for easy ESPN viewing pleasure. Needless to say, a lot of time was spent upstairs where the surprisingly fun Wii provided us with countless hours of trying to compete against our little brother who is the master of all games. Especially boxing. If you have the chance to play, I highly recommend it. And a warning to Grayson: my goal is to brush up on my skills this semester, so watch out!

And what's the point of having brothers if you can't beat up on them every once in a while?

Don't worry about me (although it was sweet of you), while the guys were out having a good time, I was pampered by Chris with an awesomely excellent manicure/pedicure that included a hot stone massage. I highly recommend it to anyone who has lived in the third world for 8 months... it was absolute heaven!

Covering all the fronts (this is important in my chronicle-ing of our trip, you know), our quest for fine food sans chicken took us to several places where we continued to feast on steak, bacon wrapped shrimp, and, well, more steak. And we savored every bite!

Grandma was able to join us one night for dinner! Afterwards we were treated to my favorite ice cream, marble slab (I think we ate ice cream 75% of the nights we were home, a statistic I am very proud of!) and returned home to play my favorite game, catchphrase.

Before we knew it, our time in Houston was up and we were saying goodbye again.
With full (okay some might say bloated) stomachs and luggage (thanks to a quick trip to Costco) we headed out of town...
