The Eighty

On our way out of town, we made a pit stop in Tomball to see Grandma and Grandpa for a quick lunch.

Then it was back on the road for the traveling duo we became over break. Thanks to yahoo maps and several pre-departure phone calls and emails (no cell phones really makes you need a plan!), we drove through the Brazos Valley to meet my parents at their new ranch. Considering the fact that we had no means of communication, and hadn't driven in a straight line for more than a tenth of a mile (especially not at 70 miles per hour) we made it without incident. We even stopped for a route 44 cherry limeade and oceanwater at Sonic (does life get any better?).
My parent's new place is down a cute county road on the east side of Caldwell.
We are calling it "the eighty" because
1.)My parents graduated from A&M, class of '80 and
2.)there are 80 acres
Perfect, right? So it the place.
We got the grand tour of the house and property and are very impressed and excited.

Afterwards, we drove into College Station to meet some friends for Dinner at On the Border.

But our day wasn't quite over...
We stopped by Justin's old Kempo class to say hi and Justin was able to participate with the class, sparring with his old buddies.
Then we headed out to Georgetown where we were reunited with Sadie!
