Vacation

This probably deserves a blog post of its own, but look what Jonah and Griffin have! They are in pink Barbie Jeep heaven! Our friends' daughter has outgrown it and so they passed it along to us knowing how much the boys would love having a power wheels of their own. We have big plans to spray paint it, but for now they are just thrilled to ride whenever they want. The first few days we had to use a timer so they could take turns but they are getting better at letting each other have a turn on their own. 

Justin had the week off so we've been enjoying his company. Griffin didn't quite understand what vacation was and kept telling him to go to work. It kind of rocked his world a little that he could stay home! We've been doing lots of bike riding and working in the yard. Justin has a great garden in the back yard and we've updated the front flower beds.

We also took the boys camping for two nights at the same campground we went to last year.

We all had a blast! We were the only campers there since it was the middle of the week and school isn't out yet. It was so peaceful. The boys went fishing both mornings with Justin. We were hoping to catch some catfish but we didn't have any luck this year. We decided not to canoe because there have been a lot of alligator sightings in the river by the camp ground but Justin took Jonah and Griffin out in the paddle boat in the fishing pond and they loved that. There was also a swimming pool we spent a lot of time in.

It was great just hanging out together by the fire. It will be so sad when Justin has to go back to work on Tuesday!
