At 13 months Jonah is:
-able to climb up the steps on to the slide on his own and go down the slide with help. it is his favorite activity and he screams like he's being taken by a stranger when we make him leave
-speaking of screaming, Mr Independant is also Mr Opinion and like a true pisces knows how to make a scene/ get attention
-cutting four molars. the drool is the worst part...for me. Justin would probably say the two hours in the night where he wakes up and cries is the worst part...
-an avid book reader. he will bring you a book and position himself in your lap for you to read to him, and often can be found by his bookshelf turning the pages and telling himself a story in is babble
- a big helper. he can bring things to you or put things where you ask them. it is so cool to see how much he understands even though he doesn't have real words, he's
-still babbling. he said mama first, then dada - which is where he got stuck. we mostly hear variations of da, with some other syllables mixed in and some screeches. he can say uh-oh which is cute :) i'm not counting that as a word though!
-learned how to put his hand on his mouth while making sounds. at first he had to use his other hand to help, but not he can do it single handedly. he also loves to clap and high-five
-plays peek-a-boo with us. he'll peek out from behind a door or put something in front of his face

Can't wait to hear what his first coherent sentence is. It sounds as if he is already making sentences; you just don't understand his language!
Jonah is an intelligent little boy who is already testing his boundaries! I'm so glad that he loves to read.
Much love,
Aunt Mimi
Love the pisces reference! He's getting so big! Wish he was closer so we could go to the park together!
