7 months old

Here's my sweet baby in his Rock and Roll Hall of Fame shirt. Justin and I are having so much fun with Jonah.

At 7 months Jonah

- loves to eat peas! Just this week he has started to voice a preference for some foods over others so we're going to give green beans a break for the next couple weeks. Last night we had avacado and let him eat some of it, and he wouldn't open his mouth to eat anything else.

- is sleeping like a baby! I have no idea what the deal was with the whole month of July and most of August (besides the teething and moving), but thankfully Jonah has settled into a great nap and bedtime routine. Except for day care days, but we're working on it. The big deal was the sleeping through the night part.

- loves to play with "non-toys" like ANY paper product, plastic bottles, the kitchen wisk and spatula, Sadie. Pretty much anything he can reach that hasn't been specifically purchased for him.

- fits into his 6-9 months clothes perfectly. I swear he had a mini-growth spurt this last week and so I finally packed up the rest of his 3-6 although some of the bottoms can still fit. Now that the weather is cooler, he's not going to be wearing shorts anyway. He's been really good about hats and hoodies in the morning and doesn't try to take them off... yet.

- laughs all the time. He really is a happy guy. We love his multi-syllable laugh which usually only happens when he's watching Sadie play or is being tickled.

-is almost mobile. He goes every direction except forwards. He goes from sitting to his tummy to his back and back to his tummy, and scoots around. He isn't up on all fours, but it isn't keeping him from getting into trouble!

I can't believe how much he looks like you Ashley! That picture reading on the floor with Justin made me laugh. That is totally something Mason would do.
