Last night I received a mysterious envelope in the mail. I had completely forgotten about the tests I took at the beginning of January to become certified by the State of Maryland. So I was surprised to receive something with the test center's return address. I braced myself for the news (unlike Justin, I'm a little out of the habit of taking tests). It has been 4 years since I took my last education course and two since I've been in the classroom- I thought both tests were tough! Instead of opening it up to find test scores, I found an award for having a top score! I scored in the top 15% of test takers over the past 2 years on one of the two tests (the other one I just plain passed).
It was cute to hear Justin say he was proud of me :)

I would have totally felt the same way. The last test I took was in 2003!! Congrats.
