Jonah turned two today! Last night we made his birthday cake. I love having a helper in the kitchen. Jonah always wants to help cook and loves shaking spices and mixing.
After Jonah went to bed last night I decorated the cake with his favorite construction trucks. Whenever we ask him what he wants to play his first response is "Muddy trucks!" I think 'muddy' is his favorite adjective.
Jonah opened his presents throughout the day. When he came home from school we opened up the big dump truck from Aunt Sara and Uncle Chris.
Justin spent the afternoon assembling Jonah's new bike and finished right as it started raining so we just rode around the hallway. Jonah has been obsessed with bikes for the last few months so he was estatic to get his own.
Jonah used the digger truck to shovel cake into his mouth. Then he spit the cake out. He really preferred the frosting.
We had fun celebrating his birthday this year! Thanks to everyone who thought of him today. And a big thanks to those who sent him cards and gifts and emails.
