Study Break!

After two big tests so far this week (not to mention the practicals last week) Justin took a well deserved break from studying! But it isn't over yet. He still has two more board exam tests (one for Pathology and the other for Clinical Medicine) and then a third test over all the subjects from this semester. Needless to say he's really tired of studying and is ready to come home! He only has 8 more days in Dominica!

No more Bookstore

Tuesday was Christina and my last night at the bookstore.

We've been very fortunate (okay some may say manipulative) to have worked together exclusively this semester. It is true the schedule was rearranged often to accommodate us, but what fun would it be if we couldn't pull seniority? The bookstore is just so much more fun with Christina by my side (I think the students would agree).

Rachel and Tami stopped by for a while to commemorate the occasion. Rachel even made a great banner that said goodbye dominica on it.

And Tami was in charge of taking pictures... and we had fun with that!

After all, this is where it all started for the three of us only a short 16 months ago.

So how could we resist a little after hours bookstore fun in memory of all the good times?

Dominica Art

We own local art! Ellingworth Moses is a Dominican artist who has art hanging around campus and also in a cute cafe in Roseau. I've had my eye on this piece for a while and we bought it on Tuesday! It will always remind me of our nature island :)
