The rest of the month

We enjoyed all our visitors over the past weeks and are so thankful to have such wonderful family and friends who have brought gifts and food to us this month. While I'm still trying to keep my new years resolution to blog regularly and take pictures, I've got to admit I'm slacking on the pictures. Here are a few:
Travis came to visit for a few days last week and we had such a great time! The boys especially loved playing and wrestling with their uncle.

Everett is just a sweet little baby :) Still doing the newborn eat, sleep, poop routine but he's a cutie!

And of course here's our St Patrick's Day photo courtesy of Aunt Sara who bought their shirts and the great mustaches!

Welcome Everett Aaron

After Jonah's birthday the waiting game began. Jonah and Griffin spent a few days on the farm in Caldwell and I was lost without them. I had a lunch date with my girlfriends, got a pedicure, read a book, and missed my babies.

My parents came to spend my 39th week of pregnancy here with us and we tried to keep busy with the boys. On Thursday March 13 Everett Aaron joined us at 11:09 a.m.
He is our biggest baby weighing 7 pounds 14 ounces and measured 21.5 inches. He looks just like Jonah and Griffin did as newborns - maybe his hair is just slightly lighter brown. We got to go home the next afternoon and spent the weekend with a house full of family. Justin took a week of vacation and we had a great week with perfect spring weather. The boys spent a lot of time outside helping with the garden and we started settling into a routine as a family of 5.

It is hard to believe two weeks have passed! I have a feeling time isn't going to slow down any time soon :)

Jonah's Birthday

On March 2 Jonah turned 4 years old. Yes, my sweet Jonah-bug is officially a preschooler with no traces of baby left. He celebrated with a bounce house in the backyard and lots of donuts. A few friends came over to jump in the bounce house in the morning. In the afternoon family joined us for dinner and birthday cake.

At 4 years, Jonah is 42 inches and 40 pounds which puts him at the 75% for both height and weight. He loves to play pretend, play board games, and asks lots of great questions.

He loves the science experiment kit he got for his birthday - we've learned about acids and bases, measured water in a pipette to grow crystals and plan to make a volcano this week.
He loves cars - here he is with a race car he painted, assembled, and decorated on his own.
He would be so embarrassed to know i was sharing this picture of him pretending to be 'Detective Green' but he was having so much fun in his disguise he wore it to the pediatrician's office :)

He's getting good at cutting, pasting, writing, and all those preschool skills he'll put to use when he starts in August.
Happy Birthday Jonah!
