B is for...

...Big Boy.

Jonah had his first play date last weekend at Storyville- a really cool play area at the library. We met up with three of my book club girlfriends who have babies younger than Jonah. Since then we've been back twice to the Storyville closer to home. While we were there today, Jonah took a few steps from Justin to me. He has gotten very comfortable standing unassisted, and walking like crazy with his little push toy.

Jonah also learned to clap this weekend! He's pretty proud of himself.

Today we also got rid of all of Jonah's bottles. He has refused to take a bottle for over a week now so that makes the transition to cups a lot simpler.

Yesterday Jonah pulled a dining room chair back over onto himself and busted his mouth. There was blood everywhere. For a minute we thought he lost his top front teeth (how awful would that be - having to wait until he's 6 for front teeth?!?) but his gum is just really swollen. It stopped bleeding after what felt like forever and then he was smiling and happy again (and back to pulling up on the chairs - you'd think he'd give it a rest for an hour or so...).

Not this big boy!

10 months old

At 10 months Jonah is

so active! He defintely demands a lot of attention and keeps busy.

His hair has really grown this month - at least on top. We're still waiting for the sides to come in. Until this happens, he's rocking the mullet/feaux hawk. Can you say whiskey tango?
(p.s. the bath water is red because Jonah got color tablets for the tub at christmas)

Aunt Sara came to visit while Justin was out of town for residency interviews. We had fun playing, shopping, and seeing friends.

Jonah is eating like a champ and taking two good naps a day. He is standing up unassisted from sitting and keeping his balance. He's still very vocal, but isn't saying much more than "dada", "mama", and "na."

OMG... I have a blog?!?

haha, just kidding :) I haven't forgotten you!
Let's catch up with a Merry Christmas to all.

Of course we really loved spending our Christmas with family in Texas. And Jonah loved opening his presents!
We spent Christmas Eve with Grandma and Uncle Travis
And Christmas with Grandpa, Cici, and Uncle Grayson.
We rang in the new year on the farm in Caldwell.
And made it back with a living room full of toys!
