10 months old

At 10 months Jonah is

so active! He defintely demands a lot of attention and keeps busy.

His hair has really grown this month - at least on top. We're still waiting for the sides to come in. Until this happens, he's rocking the mullet/feaux hawk. Can you say whiskey tango?

(p.s. the bath water is red because Jonah got color tablets for the tub at christmas)

Aunt Sara came to visit while Justin was out of town for residency interviews. We had fun playing, shopping, and seeing friends.

Jonah is eating like a champ and taking two good naps a day. He is standing up unassisted from sitting and keeping his balance. He's still very vocal, but isn't saying much more than "dada", "mama", and "na."

Of course we really loved spending our Christmas with family in Texas. And Jonah loved opening his presents!

We spent Christmas Eve with Grandma and Uncle Travis

And Christmas with Grandpa, Cici, and Uncle Grayson.

We rang in the new year on the farm in Caldwell.
And made it back with a living room full of toys!

9 months

This picture is pretty typical these days - Jonah is in constant motion! We put together the ride on fire truck that Grandpa and CiCi bought him for Christmas (hey - he doesn't know the difference and we couldn't wait!) and he loves it! He's able to get around pretty much anywhere he wants (not on the fire truck - by crawling or cruising) like Sadie's water bowl or the cabinets in the kitchen. He can pull up to standing and has started to let go and try to catch his balance.

Jonah had his 9 month check up this afternoon. Doctor Z says he's doing great. He weighs 19 pounds and is 29.25 inches long. He has 7 teeth. Oh yes, SEVEN teeth! He loves to eat. He's a very happy baby and smiles all the time. He keeps us busy! (which explains the lack of posts, but doesn't excuse it!)
