Quick! before April is over...

 We started the month off with a party for our friend Emily's 4th birthday. She and Jonah play so well together. Everett was a sport and slept through the whole party.

The party theme was Teddy Bear Picnic and everyone got a basket of snacks to enjoy on a blanket after playing games. 

Then we made the long trip to Texas for Amy's baby shower. Everett survived his first long car trip with lots of snack breaks along the way. 

 And we are trying to soak up as much spring weather as we can!

I celebrated my 30th birthday with my four favorite guys and close friends with a little party on our deck. We grilled shrimp and had lemon cake.

Justin had to work over the Easter weekend so the boys and I went to Dallas.

 We had a great time at Sara's neighborhood Easter party and Jonah and Griffin loved spending time with their cousins.

Without a doubt the biggest hit of the weekend was driving Harper's jeep. Griffin was obsessed!

 But who needs a ride on toy when you can ride a bike, right? Jonah got a real bike on Friday and is so proud of himself! After riding his balance bike for a few months we knew he was ready and it really was that easy. He hopped up and rode away like he'd been doing it his whole life!

Justin finally had a weekend off and we went over to Barksdale Airforce Base for the air show. The traffic to get in and park was crazy and it was so windy but the boys loved it!

Whew! I think i made it through the highlights of the whole month. Everett had a one month checkup at the pediatrician and he's doing a great job growing. He's just had to tag along with us from the get-go and has already been so many places! Maybe we'll slow things down next month :)
