Okay so this photo may look familiar. The last time I wore this dress Justin and I were celebrating the end of his 2nd year of med school. Last night I wore it to a reception for resident at Harbor Hospital. We found a babysitter for Jonah and went downtown to a fancy hotel on Baltimore's inner harbor where we were wined and dined (open bar and steak dinner!) to celebrate the beginning of residency and the end of residency for other students.

Justin was formally introduced to everyone as Doctor Justin Skweres by the Resident Director :)
We met several other incoming residents and after dinner got to see how well everyone got along - on the dance floor! Here are a few of Justin's colleagues (and the directors too!) dancing.

Unfortunately we didn't get a picture of me hopping on one foot (in my high heels!) with my hands in the air (light bulb!) dancing to a traditional Indian song - I got pulled out onto the dance floor and had to score some cool points for Justin :) I think I need to practice my moves before the Holiday reception!
I think Justin is really going to like working with these Doctors!

That's the way they do it. They lure you in with free food at fancy places and then they give your husband only 3 weekends off in 3 months. :) Really though, residency is definitely a step up from med school and it goes so fast. I can't believe Phillip is two short weeks shy of no longer being an intern!!
AWESOME...THAT'S TOO FUNNY! GOOD LUCK JUSTIN...I KNOW YOU WILL DO GREAT THINGS!
LOVE YALL,
AUNT CAROL
sounds like a blast! we had a similar function, but instead of a dance after the fancy dinner (and open bar!) it was a comedy "roast" of the chief residents...they are CRAZY! and i mean the awesome, hilarious, going-to-be-great-to-work-with kind of crazy. good start to the year for everyone, YAY!!
