Jonah and Daddy
At eleven months Jonah is:
-all bundled up. I think he has forgotten what it is like to be outside. I can't wait for spring and walks in the park.
-messy! His new thing is putting his dirty hands in his hair. He's mostly feeding himself so his hands get pretty sticky and then he grabs the hair behind his ears and pulls it away from his head to give himself a feathered Farrah look. He can put the spoon in his mouth if we load it up for him, but somehow a lot of the food still ends up in his lap!
-almost ready to talk. Last night he made a good attempt at saying "more" but right now he has put communication on the back burner becauses he is:
-WALKING! At New Year's Jonah stood up by himself without holding on to anything and balanced for several seconds. For a couple weeks he would pull up to standing and then reach out as if to take a step and fall. Justin and I finally got him to take a few steps between us one weekend, but it was more like controlled falling. We used Jonah's Christmas money to buy a push toy and Jonah loved practicing zooming up and down the hall. Then last week I had three snow days and was able to watch Jonah really master the art of walking. Now he's pretty much in constant motion. Now to master the art of turning!

How fun!! Now he's really not a baby anymore.
Wow!! Jonah is really moving! Won't take him long to get it all coordinated, so watch out! You'll be chasing him around outside before you know it!
Love y'all,
Mama and Daddy
I'm impressed! He is really moving! As long as he walks in circles, he can't go too far! But I don't think that will last very long. Good luck -- and gear up for life in full motion.
Love,
Aunt Mimi
Haha aww, pretty soon he'll be a dancin' fool :)
