6 months

At Jonah's 6 month appointment he weighed 17 pounds 9 ounces and measured 27 inches (but we weren't impressed with the nurse's rushed measuring technique - he's longer than that).
The Doctor gave Jonah a clean bill of health and said he was looking good.

This is Jonah's new booster chair. We've been sitting him in the bumbo (that blue chair you've seen in pictures) for dinner but he's been acting uncomfortable in it so we decided to upgrade now that he's going to be eating dinner with us. As you can tell, he's pretty excited about it.

Jonah's gift to us has been to sleep through the night for the last three nights - yes, that is every night since his 6 month birthday. Hooray! It probably isn't a pattern, and now that i've written about it he'll go back to his old ways but it has been nice.

At 6 months, Jonah can:
sit up for long periods of time without tipping over
say ma-ma-ma (this started a few days ago and I haven't had a chance to blog about it)

He likes to:
watch Sadie play and tries to pet her all the time
snuggle in his carrier
play in the bathtub
go for walks in the park
chew his pacifier (he holds it to the side and gums it)

Oh, look at those two cute little teeth peeking out! He is truly one of the most beautiful babies I've ever seen. I'm trying to look at him as an unbiased observer, you understand!
Love, Aunt Mi-mi-mi (That will be his next word.)
