The subways were so overloaded, security gaurds blocked the escalators and only let down a certain number of people at a time. This sort of ruined our timing to meet up with Peter and Kit at a bar near U Street. But we made it and really enjoyed seeing them.
Then we went to dinner with Sara's college friends at this great place called 1905. The food was fantastic. Afterwards we went to a nearby bar that had a great beer menu.
