Merry Christmas from the National Christmas tree!
On Saturday we met Aunt Suzie and Uncle Randy to see the lights in D.C. It was cold (!) but thankfully had stopped raining. All around the tree there were smaller trees with decorations from each state. There was a stage with Christmas preformers and carolers. We really enjoyed the Christmas-y-ness of the whole evening.
On Saturday I also went to an Alumnae Christmas Tea at the Kappa Delta house at the University of Maryland. Kat (to the right of me, behind the poinsettias) and I drove down and met some really nice collegiate members. Their house is almost as beautiful as mine in College Station!
